Good day,
I've had a 1978 Corvette for the past 3 years. It's an L48 silver t-top with a black interior. The only modification is a set of headers. I'm the third owner. Initially, I did some brake work to stop leaks. Replaced the power steering hoses...more leak stopage.
Right now I'm looking at replacing the pinion seal...without removing the differential. Yep, it's leaking.
I've been thinking about installing a Steeroid rack & pinion steering kit but I'm not sure it will be worth the money. The current steering system is working properly. Any comments relatiang to this is welcome.

Welcome to the motley crew of the Flying Dutchmen....

I did a rack conversion for 200 bux, and some time/effort...and a buddy did the welding.....so is it worth it?? been on my '72 since '02 early winter....

:bump:
