Found out some history on the Vette. Spoke to the builder again today and he sent me some pics.

Some progress pics. The wiring was a mess so I ripped it all out. Going to rewire the whole car. Found a big mess under the console and the dash.
The brake pedal setup was scary. Good for the 80's and a show car that doesn't get driven but not for a car with 1023HP.
So I installed a new Wilwood brake pedal with dual master cylinders. Just have to do the brake lines then that will be done.
Also got a new dash and got it fit in the car. Working on a few small changes now that I didn't like about it.

Looks like they were a little cheap on the dynomate. I was just looking at a spray on ceramic heat coating. Lizard Skin, anybody have any experience using it on fiberglass?

No I have a whole roll of it. The whole insides going to be done. Just wanted to do the firewall before I bolted the brakes on.
Lizard skin is good stuff. Just have to sand all the surfaces with 80 grit. It will stick to anything.
I'm planning on spraying the whole bottom of the car with it.

Got so progress done this week. I wanted to make sure the front suspension is going to hold together sine the motor going in has some much horse power so I figured I'd add some supports to it. I still have a couple more things I'm going to do where it mounts to the frame but this will give you an idea. I replaced the front aluminum radiatoer support and replaced it with 3/16ths steel. The front end should hold together now.

Its not gonna be a full cage. But I am gonna run it all the way to the back to tie the whole frame together.
