Im gonna get another set of rims and mount up some street tires... the 555R's are great, sticky and even drivable in the rain but they are only lasting 4-5K miles on the street...

Sooo here is the setup im planning for street use the front wheel wells are pretty full but I can use some more tire on the rear so I'm gonna step it up a bit in width...

Front
15x10x4 bassets with 26X12.00R15LT Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R

Rear
15x14x4.5 bassets with 29X15.00R15LT Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R

Besides the fact that they are a step down in speed rating form the V rated nittos to S speed rating, anyone have any thoughts or concerns?

I asked on a Camaro pro street forum and was told they don't hook, just spin. I have MT drag radials on the rear and they are good until the road gets wet. MT drag radials have lasted way longer than the Hoosier DR's.

I can blister the 555R's through the top of 3rd gear in the 1/8 mile.... I need something I can put some street miles on... the more I get done the more fun it is to drive on the street...

Its really a road cruiser... 3.08 gears and a 0.8 OD in 6th...
