Many install Z06 quarters to run 325-25-19 Z06 size tires on 19x12 Z06 rims. The fender lip on the Z06 panels is rounder than the standard C6 fender lips so you would have to swap front and rear panels so that they match - then you need a new front bumper because the stock one doesn't fit the wider fenders... at least $3000 plus paint ... And there's nothing with the stock C6 front :banghead:

Anyways..... found this on the WWW: this C6 was widened to fit the Z06 rims/tires:

I think i'm going to start looking for a cheap quarter panel on Ebay and try this myself. I wonder if the Z06 inner fenders fit....

Here's a photo of the finished "product":

I found this on the german forum, no details on how it was done, just a few photos that the guys at the shop took.

Here's more:

The tape is for bridging the gap. Looks like they simply glassed over the tape
to make their filler panel. Also the tape enables them to remove the part once
the glass has cured. The they just trimmed it down to fit the hole and glassed
it all in place. Of course all the tape was removed and panels prepped for glass
before 2nd glassing was done. The filler panels would be made out of fiberglass
mat and resin (compatible to the original glass).

This is a rather easy mod to do. There is more work in the final mud work then
the glassing itself... JMHO. Once you finish the first one the other three will go
pretty quick.

Karsten, If this doesn't answer your question let me know.
