This should get interesting. Lets find out what combos get good Gas milage or bad Gas mileage.:drink:

Please try and get all the info requested in. If you don't know your MPG--guess-- you will have a good idea just by driving the car.:noworry:

The more engines I have here, the better the info it will supply. It does not matter what the your gas mileage is- all info will lead to good reference for future builds. At the end of this I will put all the info together. :goodevil:

All pertinent information is listed below.

I've seen 20mpg on the highway, and as good as 14mpg in town, but she usually gets around 9-11 in town because I can't keep my foot out of the carb.

:bounce:
I'm very interested in seeing the results to this thread.............want a performance engine
in the son's Vette but don't want the mileage to go to crap in the process either.

four dcoe 45mm webers on a moon ir crossram feeding afr's ,,,,,,,,,,,,, no comment on the mileage due to lack of self control .:rolleyes:

I,m pulling a 3:7 gear with a tremec 3550 so a guesstimate based on behaviour would give about 14/15 mpg .

You guys says 4$ per gallon is a lot???
Here in Italy we pay 1.4 Euros per liter !!!! (more than 2.2 $ per iter):banghead:

...so.... I realy don't care mileage...... I only care to drive as fast as possible between the gas stations!:rolleyes:

I paid 1.575 Euros a liter today :bomb::sweat::twitch::suicide: That's what, right around $9.60 a gallon?

That's with the euro costing 1.56? dollars roughly. When the dollar goes up we're REALLY screwed. I'm now going for smiles per gallon instead of miles per gallon.

Nice combo you have there Pier Paolo.

I have trick flow G1 heads, custom crossram w/ 4 dellorto DHLA45M Tri Jet Pressure carbs.
