I switched carbs on my 77 383 stroker. I bagged the edelbrock and went with a holly 4160. The oem throttle linkage was connected to the edelbrock by puttling the hole at the end of throttle cable over a peg and then using a cotter pin to hold it in place. The holly has a ball connection. I confess I don't have a clue as to how to proceed. Your help (continues) to be appreciated. Jack

There are about a gallon bucket full of different "pins" that go into one of the holes on the Holley for the throttle cable. Most auto parts stores will have the one you need. Figure out which of the holes in the carb side linkage you'll use, get the diameter of it and the diameter of the hole in the cable end. Find the one that matches up and you're done.
