Hey guys I found a set of rims for sale online that are 18X12 5.5" BS and 18X10 5" BS I was wondering if these would fit my '74 C3? I have flares and offset trialing arms. I just have no way of measuring it since the body is off the frame but it's just too good of a deal to miss out on. Please help, if you need any info let me know.

5.5BS on the rear should fit - you have offset TA's but might have to move the E-brake cable to the inside of the TA.

5" BS on the front might be scraping the frame or sway bar at full lock but you could use a 1" adapter to move the rim oput to clear the inside.

4" flares or 2" flares ???

The offset railing arms e-brake cable has been moved from the manufacture, does it need to be moved elsewhere? I am not sure what flares I have but that's a picture of the back over stock?

I agree! If the wheels are priced right get them (if you really like them of course). The worst that could happen is you would need a small adapter.

The rims are Boyd Coddington wheels J5R which I think are the junk yard dog rims. Brand new wheels and the back have new tires 335/35/18 fronts don't have tires and the asking price is $1400. Rims and tires added up come out to being $4000. So it's almost too good to be true. So basically the rears will bolt on and the fronts should bolt on but may need a spacer. Correct?

a 12" rim is 13" wide overall. 5.5 BS means you have 7.5" from mounting face to the front of the rim.
From the photos it seems you have the 2" mudflap style flares, might not be enough in the rear.
Measure from mounting face (axle hub) to the fender and see what you got.

If I could get a set of these for $1400 I'd cut all four fenders to make them fit... LOL

Hi mr,
I am new to the forum Vettemod and I live in the UK.
I have been trying for a long time to buy a set of fender flares for my C3 69 convwith no luck whatsoever :(
Can you tell me how much and where you bought yours from.
By the way I do not mind if I buy second-hand copies.
