I was rather amused and perplexed when one of the plastic center caps fell off the car recently. The strange part was it stayed on the (LF) wheel through all the track sessions the other weekend, but then proceeded to fall off onto the trailer ramp as I was backing the car out of the trailer. WTF???
So, I see that the cap is now a bit loose in the wheel. What sort of semi-permanent adhesive can I use to hold the cap in? I'd like to be able to get the cap off again (without destroying it) in the future, should the need arise.
Recommendations?

I went with a Bubba fix a few years ago on one of them.....I put a strip of duck tape around the part (tabs?) that gets pressed into the wheel. It worked :lol::lol:

Clear silicone caulk. It can be cut with a razor knife later. It will withstand heat and moisture and will not look unsightly. The only drawback is that it needs 24 hrs. to cure. The upside is that you will probably be able to press fit them by hand from now on.
