Mufflers for C5 and C6

These magnaflow bullets (#14416) 2.5" in/out with a 4" diameter muffler fit a C5 and a C6:

FedEx delivered mine today, they don't seem to be very restrictive :bounce:

$70 each at Summit/Jegs/Ebay... I guess that this weekend I'm going to find out how loud they are

All stock..... you think there will be a noticeable improvement in the sound department ?? :bounce:

That's not my car, I found that exhaust with the Camaro tips on the net....

You just couldn't leave that car alone could you? How long did you actually OWN it before you started chopping it up? LOL

I agree though, C6 exhaust note = wimpy. If it's anything like them over here...terrible. Sounds like a caddy. Here they were all homologated to swiss standards so they could import them there too.

I'll see how much work it is to fab up the pipes and line up the tips.... maybe I'll make a few and sell them. With axle back systems running $1000 and more it should be easy to sell a 400 series setup with 304 tips for $750, heck, even the carbon steel Flowmaster axle back is $600..... :clobbered::banghead:

11 days..... it took me that long because I have to work 5 days a week and I couldn't decide what mufflers/tips I wanted.... usually I start modding right away... :smash:
