Default Paul Newman Chassis????

Anyone have any more insight on the c3 Paul Newman Chassis? It is shown in first pic below. I did get better pics of the c1 P. N. chassis. Pics 2 and 3. I know they discontinued production.

Saw it in this book at Barnes and Noble the other day.

There seems to be some connection to sriii and street shop.

No, pictures 2 and 3 are C1 frames.

Apparently Paul Newman had a corvette chassis business. I think the first picture shows bracing under the engine/trans area on a c3 frame. I've never seen anything like that and was hoping to get more views of the final version.

I thing the Paul Newman that did those frame mods is not Paul Newman the actor/racer. I sort of recall a C4 suspension kit for C3's about 10 years ago.

Possiblely not the actor, they went out of business. I was curious regarding all that reinforcement under the engine/trans. If anyone has more photos I'd be interested.

This might be one of the production units, much less bracing.

That extra reinforcement is probably no value if the car has a cage.

Apparently those C1 chassis photos are from "Jamison."

Would like to build a full tube chassis someday, but not right now. Just looking for ideas. I think this was in corvette fever.
