Has anyone used these seals for spherical rod ends [heim ends]? I installed rod end rear strut rods a year ago and of course I am finding the rod ends are staying quite dry lubrication wise. I can't see them surviving too long, So.. I got some of these seals and packed in some synthetic grease. They fit well and seem to seal tight around the edges.

yep...

If you have a needle for your grease gun you can just slide it under the flap and givem a shot of fresh grease now and then.

you could use a dry Teflon lube (PB blaster makes one) it won`t attract dirt as much as grease will....those seals do look like a good idea though.
