Shelf life of shocks and struts?

I have a new set of shocks and struts for my 97 camaro however they have been in my shed for about 2-3 years. Do you think they are still good or should I buy new ones again? .... I can't imagine they would be any worse then my original 150k mile ones on the car now.

Thanks ... probably should have changed shocks about a 100k miles ago haha probably the radiator hoses too
