cadmium paint

Forget Eastwood, a hassle to get. Go to the store and get some of that gold cad paint they use for wheels. it's very similar to the real deal. You'll never get the rainbow of colors like with the real deal (which disappears if you clear coat it).

Thx TT,

Doesn't have to be the real deal. Some one did the engine bay with black, so everything is black. Want the 2 headlight actuator shiny again instead of black. So gold and clear will do the trick.

This is paint too, only the hinges and hood strikers are actually cad plated:

The mounting plate for the pump here is painted, the halfshafts and brake shields are cad plated (the dull finish is the result of sand blasting) as are the yokes, caliper brackets, sway abr linkage and other spindle hardware you see. The sway bar itself is painted. Barely any color difference and pretty hard to spot.

With paint you will never get the color spectrums you see here:

Just ordinary Motip Gold wheel paint.
