Default Headlight restore

Hey everyone, never posted before but I have read a lot of yours. Has anyone restored the covers in a semi-easy way? I've seen things showing removal and sanding but I was wondering if there is something easier. I can't upload a pic from iPhone but if needed I can get on the pc, and thank you!

Welcome to the motley crew....

As for your question there, I assume it's the paint? or some mechanical issue??...

Sanding is probably the way to get really good results but rubbing and polishing compound would probably produce good results.
