The first couple of pictures look like they were taken at GM's Desert Proving Ground, while the fast lap stuff background looks similar to the proving grounds at Milford, Michigan.

The high speed run looks like the same track where Top Gear (or Fifth Gear) TV show test drove Bugatti Veyron. If I'm correct it was Volkswagen test track somewhere in Germany. The car looks to be red or orange which were the test cars at Nurburgring. So could be the same car.Orange was the one they drove the fastest lap at Nurburgring, red one had more test instruments inside. :wink:
