My 77 is in need of another differential.I've taken mine from together, and it needs to be rebuilt, but if I can find a decent one I'd rather go that route.Mine is a 3.08,would like to stay with this ratio but am considering 3.36.Does anyone have something?

I see you have a 700r4. I used to have a 84 Tran Am with 3.73's and a 700r4 was a really nice combination. About 3,000rpm @65mph in drive and 2400rpm in overdrive. That was with 235/60/15's car always averaged about 20mpg with the stock 305 H.O.

I own a 3:08 or 3:36 but it`s sitting in Tuscon and won`t be back here (in WI) until Apr-May....In much of a hurry??

Not really in a hurry(It is a toy, just a broken one)Thank you for the quick reply,I'll keep you in mind.Price?

With the 3.08 I'm turning 2400 or 2500 @ 80,have gotten 23 mpg @ that speed, its the bomb out here in the land o flat.

I have the 3.08 that came out of my '77 sitting on the shelf in my shop. It has the side yokes also. Seems to be in pretty good shape. It didn't make any noise in my car anyway. I just wanted a little shorter gear setup. $425.00 + freight and it's yours. Art
