What is the cranking speed of of a starter motor? Anyone know the current draw while starting?

Current varies all over the map, with load...obviously a lo comp SB will draw less than 1/2 a hi comp BB, I hear it not higher than 200 amps anyway....

cranking speed is <500 rpm, once again that can depend on too many variables...primarily engine temp upon start.....as anyone in Minnesota will know....

Current draw will vary with load, but can be as high as the full rated capacity of the battery. The starter is the only electrical part on a car designed to carry the full output of a battery.

The starter motor will also vary in speed, and may be stepped down if there is a gear reduction used to increase torque.
