Aftermarket fuel gauges.....most of them are undamped, so how to get them to integrate out the fuel sloshing around?? gauge jumps all over hell....

any electronics guy ever mess with one?? gotta be a way to do this and still give accurate readings....NO??

Put baffles in the tank.. My S-W gauge uses the original sender and I have not noticed any thing other than a major attraction of the needle on the gauge to the "E". :crylol:

The gauge just doesn't seem to respond fast enough to catch those oscillations in level.

I can't find a signal damper either, google only comes up with patents. :(

My AutoMeter uses the stock sending unit, it works fine with no needle bouncing.... seems to be some quality stuff... not all that expensive either, think it was like $40. It IS however getting expensive if you want all the instruments to match :rain:
