Back in the mid-late 60's my father was in the insurance business, and so one of his clients had the last name of Graney....he was in construction business.... and had a gasser that ran at the local strips around Wash DC.....

and on the side he painted a Grandma in a Granny chair with the cane held high and slicks on the back of the chair and small wheels in front....smoke out the back of course.....:shocking::p

I love the old gasses an was fortunate to know all the members of the famed S&S racing team out of falls church.though not in the heyday of it all. All were good guys and the genius of each of them are memories I will never forget. Chuck Stolze went on to be a Minister and owns garages all around Arlington crammed full of vintage speed equipment.he was then what Jegs is now, but on a smaller scale
