I was lucky enough to find this treasure in a garage close by. The chassis has been restored, the engine and transmission are also restored. The body is ready for paint, and he has the interior ready to go back into it. He told me he just ran out of gas on the project, that was 20 years ago.

A shame, it is a factory, numbers matching, fuel injection car with the original 3 speed transmission.

He let me look at the engine bay, and the Rochester FI unit was a sight to see sitting on that 283.

In case you ask, I am first in line if he opts to sell.

I have never understood that sort of neglect for any car, when I have had to or ran outta room, I sold my cars off.....WTF???? :twitch::eek::)

I have dreamt all my life of finding a barn find like that.......one day.

If I'm still healthy enough to restore it!:crutches:

Hoarder. The garage will probably collapse, or all that junk will ignite. Too bad he won't sell it to you.
