Winternationals driver survives

I've been watching this video- looks like the tires started to shake, he pedaled it and it leaned out a bit. And then the whole show went "POP". Ron Capps NAPA car. Good video on youtube.


FWIW: 64 year old John Force ran a 3.965 on Friday and a 3.966 to set a new national record. And won the meet.

Is his daughter still in the seat?? or did she quit racing?? :shocking:
 
Nope. Force's daughters are still in there. And running as hard as the old man is.
I have to wonder if the girls get the same tune as dad? Or if the crew chiefs are backing them down a bit? Could be if dad loses a round, then they step up one of the other cars. Or is Force's crew chief, Jimmy Prock, jut a bit sharper than the other guys.
