After a multi year restoration my 81 sat idle for three years. Loathing a trip to the DMV coupled with real life crap kept it parked. Few weeks ago I determined it was time. Bought some new tires, changed the fuel and charged the battery for it to spring to life! It seem overjoyed to be coming back and I'm pretty pleased with how well it's doing. Just have to smog it and then spend eight dead hours at the DMV and it should be alive. I'm so tickled I wanted to share it with the group. ;-)

Do you have to get the DMV to inspect the car? I had to do that last year and it took all day. Then you go to the get plates and that takes 1/2 day.

Nice car! Have fun.

Anything is possible with that crowd but at present I don't think so. It has Nevada plates but as they have lapsed they want it to be difficult for all of us.
