If I were to change to a 2,200 TQ from a 1,500 TQ what changes can I expect?

Higher engine RPM on take off, good for drag racing, but little else....looser converter tugs less in traffic if you have a high engine rpm idle....

A bit less fuel economy in traffic, engine revving more....

more heat given off into the transmission oil cooler.....trans runs hotter....

I just received an email from Rich Weller,Bowtie Overdrives

"Hi Dean;
The factory stall speed rating for these cars was 2025. It real world use it was about 2200. I think you are fine with a 2200 stall converter for this car."

Now I am confused????

Honestly man, I assumed the lower/tighter converter was stock for the 200 trans.... at this point, I wonder....and have NO clue what the 'stall speed' for my converter is in my vette.....would find it rather strange that any converter maker/rebuilder would make a tighter converter than stock from factory....

:crap::beer:
