Hi everyone,
I have been working on corvettes since 1969. I like keeping them stock yet the times have changed. Restomods is in.
Currently working on a 1969 convertible. Real basket case. The body is redone after many repairs. Now stuffing 10 lbs of crap in a 2 lb bag. I'm about 3 weeks from getting it started. then alignement, Upholstery etc.
Paint will be in lacquer, 2 tone.
I have a 1972, numbers matching and a '75 ragtop. My next victims.
Happy to be among corvette enthusiasts.
have a nice day.

Larry

Sweet Lookin' Engine!

Just sent you a reply (it was you right?) So you've got mail!

Hi Mike,
Technical details. Tubing it, not too bad. I made templates and glassed them in. 8L90, I had to modify the tunnel in 2 places. Still waiting on GM to send some parts. Having a custom reservoir for the inter-cooler fabricated. Factory one is not esthetic enough. Wiring is a good challenge. Lack of info on many issues.
I replaced the surround panel and rear deck lid. Press molded. Also bought a press molded high rise hood. It was badly bonded, 1700.00$ piece of junk. ended up installing the factory small block hood. Plenty clearance. Air induction will be under the front lower valence. Still waiting on the radiator from Cali. They send the wrong one twice.
Just so much fun.
Have a good day
Larry
