pull a windshield

I tought I could pull out my windshield without breaking it...

Had the same thing happen, the idiots who installed it (it was a 2 y/o new one after the original one was cracked) accidentally dripped adhesive all along the flap on the underside. I thought I had cut it all round and it appeared loose but it cracked right at the bottom another 1000$ gone.

If you look closely, theres 3 rows of caulking on the lower flap.

No way this thing was going to come out in one piece.

I've been there, it's long and tedious, but you can do it safely.
My case was even worse, I had a crack to begin with and I managed not to worsen it.
Still not sure if it was worth doing, given the original crack, but I took it as a challenge.:smash:
