"A" body disc brake conversion questions...

I am planning on a front disc brake conversion for my '71 Skylark. There are several aftermarket kits out there, some of which mention having to or not having to, replace control arms for clearance. Can anyone steer me straight on this issue, maybe recommend a conversion kit/supplier?

Contact Global West, I had one of their handling/front suspension setups in my '70 Lemans, along with disc brake conversion, AS I RECALL the OEM spindle worked with disc brakes outta a junkyard type setup, but I forget the donor car type....camaro I want to say....only been since '89.....:hissyfit:

I know what with the GW kit, they did call for '80 Caddy spindles, which used the same brakes, but custom lower ball joint....

GW Suspensions I think....
