I'm watching this, I need a much beefier bead roller too, I broke my small beader.

yeah this was a cheapy that went in a vice... I mosly have been using it flange aluminum sheet... but it was just a flexomatic when I tried to run some 16ga through it....

Just some pieces of steel that were laying in the scrap bin when I walked by and you know how it works.. you kinda see it done in your head..... I was originally thinking I would build some trusses in Y and Z but the square tube was just laying there and it will be less work.... :smash::smash::smash::smash::bounce:

excellent it will work well when beefed up....... now plan for the motor mount while you do this....mine does 16ga no problem

heres some ideas

cool... not gonna motorize it a this point...
done for now... I need to make a little pin rack to hold all the dies.... shop space is at a premium so incorporated the roller into my elcheapo brake... oh and the beer holder was an after thought cause there was some laser cut 316 stainless disks and an old bearing race in the scrap metal tub.. LOL :banghead::banghead::banghead::eek:

looks good.. I know what you mean about shop space, and I like the beer holder...what are you doing for the tension crank? my round wheel didn't work very well.....so I bought a longer metric bolt that had a shoulder on it and used a motorcycle gear shift lever. I had to weld a raised line on the shoulder parallel to the bolt axis and then the gear shift lever slipped over the threads on to the shoulder. the raised line was centered in the opening of the gear lever clamp and when you clamp it down the raised portion gave the shoulder enough bulk to so the lever didn't slip. turns out the off set of the gear shift lever worked great. when I go out there again I will take a picture it worked really well. in fact I will go do it now...

LOL... I made T handle out of a old link tube that was too long for my vette... i need to get a 20mm longer bolt too.... but I may just build a crank like that...

I forgot to mention that I have help and the beer holder required so that they can use both hands on the crank and I can avoid the worm drive costs for now... LOL
