Considering some of the tooling that's been located and transferred to aftermarket manufacturers over the past decade or so (the one-year-only '69 side exhaust covers come to mind), they might still be laying around, buried in some huge GM warehouse like Raiders of the Lost Ark...

I'll almost bet they are still at the foundry that cast them. They usually have backup tooling at a second source so there may be 2 sets of dies out there somewhere.
