I guess I just had to start another project.... Got a good deal on this body kit ...... Well, I've always liked the Saleen kit much better than the GT skirts and bumpers , so I decided to install it on my LX coupe..... I used 3M 8214 urethane adhesive to glue urethane to urethane (bumpers) and 3M 8116 to glue the skirts to the steel rockers..... That $hit is not going anywhere.....

Haha.... Same thing when I did the 13" front brake swap with the dual pistons....

For now it's a 2.3 .... A 140 ci power plant with not much power....

No idea what I'm going to do about the engine: coyote 5.0 swaps are getting less expensive.....

Is that the same engine as the turbo SVO cars?

Yes, minus the turbo :(

Have to say: bought it in 2009 with 140000 miles on the meter,,,,,, now at 220000 miles,,,,, can't complain..... No issues, takes regular 87oct gas, mineral oil etc.......

That Coyote is going to use synthetic oil and run at 25-28 mpg...... Lol

Same mpg, just quadruple the hp......

The SVO turbo (I think) was a 2.4l. I drove a T-bird Turbo Coupe and was really suprised. Of course that was at a time where 200HP was a hotrod, so I had pretty low expectations!

The turbos had lower compression and forged pistons.... Some say you can just throw a turbo on the stock 2.3 and use two head gaskets to lower CR...... Might work but not my cup of tea..... Lol

Got the stuff painted, was dark by the time I was done but you get the idea.....

I think the 2.3 turbo is to much of a dinosaur to even consider. A 5.0 would be a far better choice.

I'm pretty sure it will be a 5.0 swap..... The 95-98 Explorers are cheap donors..... The 2010 and up Coyotes are a little pricy but damn these are nice engines...... Lol

thats nice thing about them fox bodies, that GM should have done is the shifter holes. On a fox there auto shifter fills the manual shifter hole.
