I got this picture from mark. Anyways I have seen after-market frames to use C5 rear suspensions. Could I just move my factory rear rails in and reinforce them and then graft them to the area the body mounts are at so I can retain my stock fuel tank and body mount locations.
Or would moving the frame rails in cause frame to body issues in the trunk area?
Basically duplicating this, or would I be better off buying a universal rear section and modify it to accomplish the same thing? I can do rear floor and wheel well modifying since my 82 is a convertible and only a hardtop will ever be used. So soft-top issues won't happen.
what are your thoughts on this? I basically have everything to put c4 suspension on the frame but really prefer c5 rear suspension but like the c4 front.
