there has been a few for me, my very first car, a brand new silver 1970 1/2 Camaro SS 396/375 (402" actually) as it turns out it became a very rare car although I ruined it making it a drag racer, 1967 427/390hp silver Corvette roadster (my wife/then girlfriend) loved that car, and finally for a few weeks I owned Greenwoods #48 BFG race car after it had been destroyed in a fire.....

There have been a few I regret selling.... too bad I didn't use that Kodak instamatic with the flashcube a little more:photo:

Ahhh... British cars - the sound of maintenance

Wayne, a very old friend got back outta his 20+ in the USAF, had a '71? Brit sports car, one of the 2 letter types...MG, etc.....very small, so he put a rebuilt engine in it, then some years later, bought a MIG welder, some replacement body metal, jacked it up in Anna's garage, taught himself to MIG weld, painted it yellow, awful job.....no GOD awful....and so packed up his shit, and drove it to....Prudhoe Bay Alaska and back....without failure....home was in Wash DC....so that's maybe 15k round trip....so any time someone mentions Brit cars, I have to mention that.....his kids were way on their own, and he divorced.....so WTF....
at one time I had a bunch of pix of the old flower mill he bought near W. Va in the mountains....he has literally rebuilt all 15k feet of it....long story on that one, he been there like 13 years now.....:drink:

Only vehicles I've sold have been my jet skiis and my dirt bike. And I'm so happy to be rid of them. I hate 2 stroke motors. Doubt I'll ever buy another one.

28mpg? Canadian... maybe.

PS. 66 Flacons/ Mustangs are pieces of crap. And I would bet money that that I6 motor puts down double digit hp, at the flywheel. 4 wheel manual drum brakes on a soft suspension unibody with no power. Don't see the appeal. I would get a Mustang to modify it, at least it is an attractive car, but the Falcons are sooo ugly.

I have two I regret, but I can't say if I had kept them I would still have them.
My first car was a 73 454 4spd with A/C Coupe. I only drove this car in the parking lot of my Dad's shop. It had been wrecked and was repaired with a new front and was in primer. It was awesome, it had side pipes on it and it was loud.
I didn't really pay anything for it, My Dad gave it to me for working and not getting paid, so I was paid with a car and he paid for the parts. I ended up selling it right before I got my DL and bought a really clean 75 L-82 4spd coupe. I still have that car, but I have not driven it in decades.
My second was a 70 350/350 car, I had just bought it, it had some damage on the nose which it really needed a front to make it right. So this was about the time my Father had decided to sell the business and one night someone cut through our fence and hacksawed the entire rear taillight panel out of the car. They cut it up almost to the gas filler, I was so mad that when he sold the business I included the car in the deal. I wish I would have thought a little more about that one. It was a blue/blue car and it would have been sweet. To make it worse, my Dad remember a customer showing him my car and wanting to purchase the rear clip off it, he was upset when my father told him it was not for sale. I guess he got it anyways. My Dad and I spent 2 summers after that going to car shows looking for the guy with a Corvette. Never saw anything. I saw my 70 about 3 years ago and there was nothing left of it but that rear clip that was cut, it was parted out instead of repaired.
Who am I kidding, I miss everyone of them. If I could have them all back I would.

Someone much more clever than I once said "If I had all the money I spent on cars and women I'd spend it all on cars and women".

Words to live by....
