have had this beauty for a little over a year now. Eagle Corvette GTP HU-002 chassis car #40.
Now, this car we (brother Chris and I) have had under dailey and I do mean every day since we brought it to the shop for resortation it has been worked and reworked for perfection. NOTHING on this car is production based parts.
Not the suspension, not the tube control arms, not the up wrights, or the single center lock huns, disc calipers, or rotors, control rods, nor th 5 speed ZF transaxel and especially the tub and full race chassis roll bar intergration.
Not the interior, not the wiring harness, not the gages, or quick release wteering wheel, or the fire bottle and full Halon system, quick disconnects, not the 3 pc BBS racing wheels, Lexan glass, single aluminum racing seat, 5 point harness w/ Hans device teather, or radio / Pit communications system, dry brake's left and right,
You can see the resto process via my facebook page..............under John Robarge, Lake Mary Florida.
Many people going back to the cheif designers,John Cafaro and Clark Lincolyn of theorginal fame of these cars, have had jumped in to give us a hand to get the car right. Be NO mistake, this is not the Lola chassis buy rather the Eagle left hand drive chassis built orginally by driver and past owner Dennis Kazmoroski of the last Lola Corvette GTP and LeMans fame. It Sat in the Baker Racing Shop since 1990 never completed for competition.
Well Now she's ready for battle, and no she'll not be a garage queen any more.
Any question's, please feel free to sontact me.

Used to see the Corvette GTP at Mid Ohio back in the day. Unfortunately for IMSA, Al Holbert's Porche dominated. Made the race for 2nd place (or 1st in the non-Porche division)!

thanks guyz. just to make you all even happier

I've done a Ton....I do mean a ton of research on these car's (lola and Eagle's) and am happy to announce I have located #003 and the last of the 3 Eagle GTP's, Corvette's. Even happier to report, NONE of the three were street car's although 001 was licenced one time but just to unforgiving on the street and dentist bill nearing the cost of the car it self. LOL But owner finally gave way to return the car to it's orginal race form.

Should have the sale of the 003 firmed up in a couple day's, and like the sister 002 car here in the pictures, I'll do a monthly up-date of the resto progress in picture form on facebook and here in Vette Mod as well, so keep an eye out.
For those needing some refresher of 003 here ya go.:drink:

I remeber going to Laguna Seca and watching the Lola T-600 absolutley DOMINATE the IMSA even where it debuted with Brian Redman at the wheel (1980 as I recall.) This car is the last of that series of race chassis but, it was already about obsolete when Eric Broadey of Lola cars took all that GM money for the Corvette GTP project in the mid 80's. I thought Rick Hendrick had 2 of the GTP chassis in his wharehouse somwhere, what chassis number are you working on?

I also remember going to do some mid week testing at Laguna with my TZ250 Yamaha and being able to watch the crew from Ryan Falconers engine shop doing development work on the 1000+HP Chevy V6 turbo motor in a GTP chassis, that thing kicked some wild AZZ flames out on off throttle state.
