Back by popular demand, The Bird Run for August is on. It will be a weekend run in So Cal, the (tentaviely) 3rd weekend in August.
So, dust off, tune up, align, bolt together your Vette, and get ready.
Subscribe to this thread, and stay tuned for final details.
This will be a 2 day run, with the option of:
Motel stay Sat night, OR:
Attending just one day, with rondevous points to be announced.
Try to attend, as I have yet to have any complaints. Just good, clean, fun for all.
The runs always begin Sat 7AM at the Angel Stadium parking lot, Metrolink Train Staition entrance off Katella Ave.
(Previous attendees, perhaps post a few pictures of previous runs in this thread.:D)

All over Arrowhead, Big Bear and such, the night in Beaumont/Banning, then up the switchbacks to Idylwild, over to Anza, and back home the long way.

I think we are going to push back to September. Kevin has been stalled, and there just seems to be little interest so far this year. :hissyfit:

Well I was ready to role with a few of my boys, but it actually works out for me to push back to September. Keep us posted and we'll "represent."

Okay, New date,cast in stone, be there or be square.
Sept 18th-19th. That is a Sat-Sun of course.
Route to be the same. Lake Arrowhead-Big Bear on Sat.
Sat. night in Beaumont-Banning area.
Idyllwild on Sunday. This is a great,challenging switchback road up 8,000' on a mountainside.
Kevin P from Mo. will be joining us as well.
I hope you can all attend one or both days.
The die hards who do the weekend always have fun, as well as the 1 day people.
Attend what you can.
And no, no postponements. This is it people.
