NEVER understood, or CARED to, about 90% of the markings on the road these daze....it better be American, and harkan back to the daze of yore .....
having said THAT, back 20 years ago, with all them German import popularity in the Wash DC region....and the strange marking alluding to engine size and whatEVER 'class' the car was.....
I marked my '70 Lemans/GTO convertible with the roman numerals....
CDLV on the back trunk on the right, same position as BMW/Merc.....
got more than a few inquiries over the years.....
and SO, the same thing going on the vette soon enough....
