" '60s era Corvette Grand Sport is not a restoration job or a replica, instead it's a certified continuation of the original car. That means it's actually a 1965 Corvette racecar built in 2016, but you do not want to walk away from a crash in this beast. "Driving this car in full throttle, is like riding the devil straight to hell. You know it's so so wrong, but you love every damn second of it," says..."

Published on Apr 26, 2014On November 9, 2013 ProTeam Corvette Sales hosted an all day NCRS Technical Seminar. The main topic was "How Chevrolet's Relentless Pursuit of HP Benefited Corvette." The all-day session was co-sponsored by the Michigan and Heart of Ohio chapters of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS).
In this video a panel discussion featuring Gib Hufstader, Bill Howell, Gary Cline, Tom Langdon, Al Grenning, Denny Davis and Dave McClellan give personal accounts about the birth of the L88 and ZL1 engines. A replica of that car including its 180 degree exhaust headers was unveiled at the event as well. In addition former Corvette Chief Engineer and Hall of Famer Dave McLellan spoke about development of the C4 ZR-1.
