Position of wiper door relay 69??

I need some help with the position of the wiper door vacuum relay on my early build 69. I suspect the previous owner did not put it in the right place.

I don´t need NCRS standards but, I would expect that the engineers at GM back in 68/69 put at least some thought where to place it most convinient! And why change it now? As far as I can understand it is positioned on the right inner fender.
I have found a metal bracket riveted to the fender just beside the washer can. Could this be the place?

You found it; that's the mounting plate.
The relay valve's Red, Yellow, Green & White port connections face the drivers side of the car - if you drive on the right side of the road, and the driver sits on the left side of the car when sitting in the seat & looking through the windshield.
