Anybody know the stock fuel pressure on a 99 after the regulator, at the schrader valve port?

PM or email Jsup....or John Supino here for sure info.....but I never heard of a DPFI injector running less than 35 psi, and most of them are nearer 42 psi...

Bird posted this enquiry on my behalf. After having blown up one of the MSD Coils on my car and found three other swollen, I pulled them all and put on stock coils. So now the car will not start.

I believe what has happened is that one of the coils over heated, and then blew the fuse for that bank taking out half the motor. No - on the 4 or 5 hour freeway, you do not exactly pull it over at 8 in the morning. With the motor flooded with fuel now I think the spark plugs are barely to fire hence the car will not start. So now 8 new plugs going in. Then time for a computer tune.

Car is totally non stock and I have no idea wtf I am doing. But am going to make sure that the fuel pressure is there. Ho, also blew an O2 fuse at the same time.

If I can get the car to run, it will be one sweet drive.

Thanks, George

is that 50psi running or KOEO?? returness ls system or soemthing else? bigger/non stock injectors should not matter especially at idle,

50PSI KOEO, engine running, turned off. Steady Freddie like a rock. Very little bleed down after shut off as well.
Measured on the fuel rail via the stock schrader valve.

Should be 58, drivability issues? Stock 1 line system??? If the stock setup w/ the single line was not adequate I'd expect to see a pressure drop @ WOT, in PE but not @ idle.

Das Bird, was kind enough to swing by on Sunday to help me with this beast.

First, the car is not running a stock motor. It is a single fuel line car, stock pump and regulator, 110,000 miles, 175,000 km. The attachment has the specifications on the injectors installed. I have not yet revised the fuel maps to work with the new injectors. Why these injectors? They were the only ones that would physically fit my intake fuel rail combination and connect to the stock wiring harness.

Car is running rich.

Also I now have a purge valve code that will not clear. This started after I installed a new valve because the old one was so dirty. (I am running the car without Tupperware.)

Tks, George

See if you can find the injector offset values for those if you can change that in your ecu, start from there.
