I'm happy to hear it, although I'm a bit skeptical. I may be picking nits here, but I consider the "small block" to be a 1st gen, and maybe including the 2nd gen engines. In my warped opinion the LS motors are a different architecture warranting a different nomenclature all together. I mean by the same rational is the LT-5 considered a "small block"? Maybe some would, but I don't.
Even so, you have to figure that by my rational, the original "small block" is still probably good for 90,000,000 units. Certainly ain't too shabby.
