~15 y/o GIRL rebuilds Fiero....

she's now like 21 ish... cool story, nonetheless :)
So you think the video is a decade old?

21-16= 5 years; decade is, last I checked, 10 years - maybe it's different in Canada? probably a metric decade :D

and I thought I was bad at math :lol:

I'm just saying that because to my understanding she's still 14, started 2 years ago and the auto show in the video is the lastest one, at some point you can see the lastest C7.
Or maybe it's just a timezone glitch....:D

HOO cares about when, the happening reminds me of my daughter's scout troop coming over to my garage to change oil etc. on my '70 Pontiac Lemans Vert.....so I had the car up on stands where the shrimps could crawl up under it and see what ever and witness grimy old engine oil draining into the pan, and changing the drippy filter with their little hands....all icky POO and that shit.....it was fun and funny for me, just setting there with 3 MILFS and a bunch of kids.....been a while.....

not so very long ago, my daughter changed the serp belt on her Subaru.....

had to call for advice, but she sent me a pix of her success, grimy little paw stuck out there in victory.....

:banghead::drink:

That is pretty cool. Some guys a while back were swapping northstar v8s into fieros. I bet that would have made them fun to drive...

Yup the Northstar was very popular, saw one at Carlisle Pa. car show some years ago, another down here in Florida too, also there was a Fiero shop/club? just up the road a ways from me in Maryland.....I had a Fiero Formula with the 2.8 down here for a few months, it was a fun little ride, the '88 version with all the upgrades, which typical GM, they cancel the car once it's right/improved/reworked.....:club::stirpot:

Yep. Was at an autocross where a guy had one. Thing was a rocket. Once you fix the head gasket issue, the Northstar is actually a pretty damn rock solid motor.

Youtube has a bunch of videos with the northstar swap. It looks like it pulls pretty hard out of the corners..

Yeh, they were pretty fun/good drive even with the 2.8 in there, some guys would do 3.1 or better to say stock looking....it was a total blast to drive in traffic in the rain, mine was an automatic trans, but the thing would easily out doo any other car in the rain, in drag race that is....but funny thing was, I sure as HELL knew where that engine was going about 80 mph in a rain storm....had to slow down to 60 to regain stability.....I"m not talking totally outta control, just that it had the 'edgy' feel like the rear was fighting for control, :hissyfit::gurney:
