1st. thanksgiving

Interesting, and so to roughly 'quote' something off the .net that Europeans used to sail up/down the coast of N/A when the camp fires of the Native Americans were so strong that the smoke was noticed some 3-4 hundred miles off shore, the Vikings supposedly tried to land/conquer the natives, but so many natives the Vikings were repelled rather easily, so the story goes.....several hundred years later something happened and some plague wiped out the Native culture to the point of not having any manpower to ward off the 'invaders' ......

now the time frame quoted was in coincidence with some European climate change, supposedly....so much smoke going across the Atlantic, THAT ONE sounds like BS to me.....but if you set off SO much smoke from burning forests with SO much of a prospering population cooking food/heat.... makes that more of a GW political crap statement.....

The history we never learned in grade screwal.....:surrender:

I have been searching the web but all I can find out about this party is the year not the day? Not that I would have attended, just wondering what I was doing that day?:quote:
