I posted this ad on Craigslist earlier today. Only took 20 minutes for someone to call. Amazing.
I'll bet you can't guess the type of person who's coming to pick it up. Oh, and FWIW, I used a Dremel and bit to carve 'POS' in the handle.
 
Freeking WEIRD, as one of my wife's clients has been bringing a carpet cleaner to me for help in repairs over the last 2 daze....needs a 80 buck water pump....we tried everything....

what are the odds..???

I'm giving this away because it's best used for parts. If you have one of these that's missing something or broken, you can try this one. I'm giving it away because it is A PIECE OF SHIT! The motor does work and it pulls vacuum at the tank but sucks (or rather doesn't) at picking up water on the carpet. If you intend to use this as your actual carpet cleaner, it's not worth the drive to pick it up.
You've been warned, but do what you want. I'm not asking any questions. I'm just offering it here because I don't want some clown picking it up off the sidewalk and then pawning it off on someone else as a good unit.

NOPE, not ME, never used any other handle than MRVETTE on any forum since '95, when I first popped up on the net....posting in the old UUnet? Alt.autos.corvette group....got a heads up about CF along about June? '99, went there and signed on a MRVETTE....

I am the first MRVETTE on the internet.....and not by design either....I sat in a storefront chair when signing up for my first dial up ISP, and they asked about what handle I wanted....like on the old Citizens Band radios....I sat there flatfooted and thought of another buddy who got me interested in the .net and so his was MRGTO...@xxxx so I thought of MRVETTE....

Sorry, except for ONE movie in a theater, I not seen ANY movies in 30 years....

except The Sopranos.....when I bought the complete set, watched it, sold it for what I paid....
