anyone know the law as to which parts of the census form we are legally required to fill out?

I just heard that, if you don't fill it out completely or don't send it, they send someone to your house. Can you imagine that job? Should be lots of "confrontations" in the news to come.

I don't believe there is any law that compels you to complete the census. Same with the poor bastards that they send to knock on your door. I routinely ignore solicitors and Mormons anyways. Just add them to the list.
The real purpose of the census is for redistricting and doling out tax dollars. In theory the results are supposed to be confidential because they want illegals to fill them out too. I actually wanted to fill out the census for the 34 illegals living in a tent in my backyard and convince my neighbors to do the same to get a few extra bucks thrown our way but my wife thought that idea was insane.

under duress from the wife (she couldn`t live without me if Obama threw my ass in jail for not filling out the form anyway) I filled out most of it....I didn`t mail it I just filled it out....oh and BTW what race is white? I thought I was a Caucasian.

Article 1 Section 2 of the US Constitution states:
"Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States
which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers,
which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons,
including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not
taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.
The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting
of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten
Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.
Any additional information doesn't appear to be called for. So, I answered my census form with 2. If they come to my house, they'll get the same answer. 2.

Be realistic Bird...you would more likely get a knock on the door for putting American. Look at the ft hood shooter...all the signs were there but no one did jack about it.
