I wonder WTF is so subliminal in my 'mind' about that car, I have no recollection of seeing it before, but yet, when doing my lame attempt of whatever....I see the same philosophy in my car....color with black accents, the intro of the mid year straight across grill instead of the pieces of grill common in the chrome sharks....

I can't go the button/tufted interior though....

I should have gotten hold of the olde tyme pix of my car when it was doing the show circuit some 30+ years ago....the lady I bought it from offered them to me but only when I got finished with the mechanicals.....I never got back to her, and lost any paperwork....oh well....

I've never really been a fan of much of Rosin's styling anyway. About the only thing he's done that I really did like was that angled rear glass. But then that did away with the removable rear window in the 68-72 models.
Now power was a whole different story.

I hear you, I"m NOT a fan of anything 'fast back' on ANY car....

looks like a VW beetle, one of the fugliest/stupid designs for a car I can remember,...and would rather forget...

I was always under the impression that the Vega style steering wheel was only available in the 76 model vette? Does anyone know the real story?

That '74 wouldn't make too bad a project car, but $1600 would be right at my limit for a non-running auto L-48 car in that condition.
Dean, I'm pretty sure you're right about the wheel. Add to that the stearing column and wheel are completely different colors and I'm guessing one of the owners just wanted tilt/tele.
