This may have been posted before but it's the first time I have seen it. At first I thought it was a photoshop creation but apparently its a real car that was featured in Hot Rod last year.

:shocking: What blows it for me, is there is just another carb on a BBC under there, nothing rong with the BBC, but for Christsakes this is the end of the first decade of the 21st CENTURY already....enough time to go electronic engine management for that amount of MONEY, TIME EFFORT involved ...to wimp out on the induction is a crime.....

:shocking::shocking::club::pprrtt:

Straight line Corvettes don't do much for me. That's what Chevelles are made for.

I agree, I was going to hole fire on that comment, but rather the tires were more manageable and kept a good IRS....hell for that matter stick a potatoE chip on a top fuler.....

:shocking::p

The chances of that car doing any straight line passes are about the same as it being entered in the Indy 500.

There are certainly lots of things I would do different but I can appreciate the effort that went into it.

:o OH hell YES....no question, but I have to be able to drive it with SOME semblance of reason too....:shocking:

I'm genuinely not trying to be a smartass, but that perspective reminds me of that powder blue late C3 with white wheelwell accents, and wide whitewall tires that's been posted a few times on Corvette sites. I'm willing to bet a lot of effort went into that car, too.

If nothing else, I at least have to respect the blue pimp car because it's not posing as anything other than how it's being used. Don't know that I can say that about the black car.

Guess I must have missed something, How do you know the car was not EFI?
I googled Hogans Sheet Metal intake and came up with this.

Damn, this is starting to sound like some of those close minded NCRS dudes over on CF. True car enthusiasts should be able to appreciate the good in our hot rod hobby. IMHO there is a lot more good than bad here.

P.S. Unless of course MrVette is correct and its carbureted. Then it's a piece of shit. :lol:

The difference is, I cannot and do not appreciate the effort that went into the blue pimp car.

OK, fair question, from the above Pix set #3 the small one on the bottom there, the only one showing the engine, the reflections even in full size look like a blower or what?? not sure...

So I click on the link to Triponanzi? ...and so down the list I see under that flashy looking chrome induction, there are NO injectors on the intake, that I can spot, anyway.....and toward the bottom the pix pile there I see what looks best like a Holley carb on top.....maybe a K/O these daze, but it don't look like any FI I know of....

I'm not close minded. I believe you should be able to do whatever you want with your own car. Heaven knows there's darn few stock parts left on my car. My philosophy is to always make the car faster than it looks, rather than the other way around.
I just don't understand the poser crowd, that's all.

Everyone here and the angles above know what I think of my own paint/body work....:pprrtt:

BUT it's a rare day driving it, that someone don't ask the favorite question...
what YEAR is that?'.....I just laugh as say 'pick a year between '68 and '94 you going to find parts on there, but it was born in '72.......:p

actually that would be up to some of the new shit, being 2010 but why get all technical??:search:

I think he's basing it on this picture:
3-21-09%2B010.jpg
I'm guessing the tubing over it is just to cover the old school carb.
Hellatious work on that thing. Absolutely beautifully done, even if it's not my style.

great car IMO... not a fan of the straight line setup, with "normal" rims/tires it would a beauty....
I guess it depends on what you build a car for... track only ? Great, forget about paint, chrome and waxing.... this one seems to be show only which is fine too... the headrests are kinda cool....

:shocking:

Don't get me rong guys, I not critical of the workmanship, it's freeking beautiful, but just a couple of what TODAY I consider a few points of design concept that need attention, it's a good example of super nice work, from 25 years ago....:beer::p

I think the thing that surprises me the most about it is how wild somethings are and how completely stock other things are. Given the interior, which I didn't see a single factory part and then you look and it has the factory external door handles. Just kind of a strange amalgomation. As beautifully as it's done, I don't think it's finished.

I love the interior, I hate the rear fenders and the rest is a bit bland Very nice car, shame about the rear axle & wheel wells.
