I am doing a body off on my 77 (got the POR 15 stains to prove it:lol::lol:). I have removed the tank and am ready to put it back on. While it is off I want to check the sending unit and fuel strainer. If the bladder is shot, do I need to replace it? If I buy a new tank w/o the badder (I think that is all that is available) can I simply use it. How about the gasket on the sender, where it attaches to the tank? Your ideas on this are appreciated. Thanks, Jack.

If you decide to buy a new tank, I have a deal for you. I have one still in the box from ecklers. I even still have the reciept for it. All you need to do is cut out the area of the bladder that acts as a gasket for the sender and fill neck. I'll take $150.00 plus shipping from 76020. I thought my bladder was collapsed so I bought a new tank and the problem was the sending arm was bent. Straightened it and all was good. All it's doing is taking up room in my shop. Art

So I don't need the bladder except the part cut for the filler/sender. I think my tank is ok but I will quickly let you know on your offer. Jack
