90 cooling capsule in a 82, is it possible?

Since I am grafting a front 90 frame section on my 82 and doing the L-98 swap figured I might try using the 90's cooling capsule as well. I noticed though that my 82 radiator support doubles and fender support as well. Any of you have ideas on how to fix that issue?

The 90 capsule sits low and is raked back so I am hoping to use the air cleaner and air ducting as well. If I were to get the bottom opening of the capsule just behind the stock 82 air dam would this work to feed the capsule air at road speed?

I like the design verses aftermarket radiator and cooling fans and I would think it would cool better then how the radiator is conventionally mounted in my 82 and subject to air going around the radiator core.

I also plan on using the better part of the 90's a/c system so as you can see one part is bolted to the capsule as well.

Anything could be made to work. Just depends on how much work you want to put into it. If it was too wide, that would be a deal breaker for me.

I think it would be far easier to mount the C4 radiator and fan to the C3 radiator support and call it a day.

Okay being this is a c4 front frame section swap car. the capsule will fit between the frame rails. But a problem, that is a possibility is the front bumper extension.

here is a frame section grafted but bumper hors returned to stock location.



the air cleaner part farthest forward comes very close to the large rectangular bar at the front of the c4 frame. and the capsule almost comes close to the small square bar that runs to each frame rail.

now my car also has this extension on the front of the frame so I'm curious if it could be shortened and relocated mounting point at the front of the c4 frame rails so this capsule would have plenty of room to fit.
