I've stopped at one place so far in the KC area, and found a decent selection of aluminum for my projects (I usually buy the larger scrap size pieces at the places I traditionally go). The place is called The Steel Source in Blue Springs, Missouri. Despite their name, one of their shops is focused on aluminum fabrication. I talked to Doug (who is possibly the owner) when I got my stuff. Pleasant fellow. Their number is 816-228-7440
