I currently have 84-88 seats in mine but they sit to high for one. I have power seat tracks on my 82 as well. Can these tracks be mod'ed to let the seat sit lower or would manual tracks be a better choice?

Will the wider 94'ish seats have a problem?

Got these for 25.00 and prefer them over the 84-88 seats.

I know I read about this somewhere.. this isn't the link I read, but it'll do fine in a pinch!

^^ The pics don't work on this.. crap.

found this:
You will be able to do it a variety of ways- but this is how I did it-
1.) DON'T use the seat rails from the 91. They will sit TOO TALL.

2.) USE your 78 rails.... but you will most likely need to craft FOUR 1 1/2 in spacer to use on the anchoring points for the front of the seat rails. This will allow you to overcome any motors or provisions that dip below the frame mounting bolt holes.

3.) Use some thing strong- like a block of drilled aluminum that has the right slope to transition to the rear bolts which need no adapters. Use wood to get a prototype before you make the final product. Or, if you are cheap..... go to the hardware store and find yourself some long bolts and spacers. Just remember it isn't as sturdy as the first option. And, it looks ghetto.

4.) Remove the bottom cushion and drill the new mounting holes. Use your old seats as a guide.
