i saw some a while back and they are lightweight but appear very sturdy. the are a tad pricey but it seems like the quality is there and easier to use than jackstands.

I have been using the 2 piece 56" Race Ramps for a few years now. I love them! So much easier than the old steel ramps I used to have.

Last year, I bought a set of their 12" wheel cribs as well that I use to evenly elevate the whole car.

I tell you the problem with these contraptions....

the typical garage is maybe ~20' long if that, and maybe 20' wide if you have a double door....2 car....IF you are lucky....

and a 8' ceiling....

SO lets assume you want to do an engine/steering up front, remove front wheels, maybe a trans out the side....need get the rear up too,

typical house is an 8' ceiling.....

MY solution has been jack stands and a GOOD floor jack, get that SOB UP there.....enough to slide a auto trans out the side of the car, with a set of wheels/dolly under it....

OH, another trick, a guy gave me a old slick rubber mat from a bowling ally about 1/4 inch thick and slick on the top side....impervious to oils and water....about 3' wide and 4' long....

needless to say, it's FAR better than any creeper.....

AND adds maybe 4 inches of very useful clearance.....

Have the same ones. Love them. I originally bought them for a newer Mustang I had at the time to do oil changes. Car was too low for my jack and it was a pain to jack up and get on jack stands. These ramps made it easy and the low angle didn't hit the front spoiler either.

Ended up using them on my truck for a few things too like working on exhaust, oil changes, pulley change, etc.

They are very lightweight and stable. They are long, but I can stand them upright so they don't take up too much garage space.
