I'm curious what it all weighs, but not just the suspension alone. I'm asking about
A-arms
spindles
Springs
Steering system
sway bars
aluminum batwing and differential (that is why I asked for 80-82)
trailing arms (complete)
calipers
rotors
(basically complete suspension as it is on car, but I would assume other c3 parts are the same besides the 80-82 aluminum batwing and differential)
Along those lines cast iron heads verses 90 aluminum heads
heavy brass radiator verses plastic tank aluminum radiator (so if you took out your stock radiator and a/c condensor and radiator support what is it's weight)
A comparison between a 75 coupe body and convertible body would be nice (I asked about 75 since that should have a metal floor like my 82. But I am looking for basically firewall back without convertible top in place since mine won't have a convertible top but it does have all other 75 factory convertible stuff.
Heavy R4 compressor verses 90 nippondenso compressor
Weight of a 78-82 back window
A complete L-83 engines weight compared to a complete 88-91 L-98 motor would even be better
I know strange questions but I am just curious how much if any weight will be lost with my 82 a convertible and complete 90 suspension and complete engine. I know transmission wise I won't lose any since the are both 700r4's, but I can't imagine suspension wise there won't be a change.
